Kim Victoria Cattrall is an English-Canadian actor born on the 21st of August 1956. Her best known part is Samantha Jones, in the HBO Series Sex and the City. Sex and the City brought her five Emmy Award nods and received four Golden Globe Award noms. In 2002 she won the Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress. She reprised the lead role for the Sex and the City (2008 and Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. Also known for the films Porky's and the Porky's of 1980 as well as her appearances on Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin. She moved to the US after which she started appearing in a variety of films, in minor roles. She was the Venusian Guard on Abbott and Costello Go to Mars the film that was her first credit part. The film was later awarded the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category, after her appearance in the film Blood Alley.
