Erica Cerra (born October 31 1979) is a Canadian actor best recognized for her role as Deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy show Eureka. Cerra is born of Italian origin was born on the 31st October, 1979, in Vancouver British Columbia. Cerra was fascinated by acting as young as eight, and was a part of numerous commercials as a child. Then she took a break from the acting business for a while, and it was back in the 2001 when she was a 22-year-old. Cerra was ranked among Vancouvers five hottest up-and-coming actresses in Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine in 2005. Cerra starred in Eureka the show, which was a Syfy show that was broadcasted from 2006 to 2012. The show featured her as Deputy Jo Lupo. She also appeared in the 2006 music video for The Michael Buble hit song Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra's credits include leading roles on a number of critically and widely acclaimed television shows, including Battlestar Galactica. Cerra has also been featured in major films including Man About Town with Ben Affleck and Rebecca Romijn and Blade:Trinity with Wesley Snipes. Cerrasfaces and body have been used in the video game series Mass Effect to represent Ashley Williams. Some of her other appearances as a guest star are Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff or Dead Like Me. Khondabi mentioned that she got married to Joey Scribner Howard, her best friend from high school who is a mechanical engineering in the energy utility industry. Khondabi stated that she along with Joey had the most wonderful friendship at Greenwood Christian School for years prior to dating during their final year of high school. Howard relocated to Irmo and then graduated from Dutch Fork High School but they Khondabi were friends for a while and eventually started dating. Khondabi is a 2007 graduate of Emerald High School and a 2011 graduate from the University of South Carolina with a degree in broadcast journalism. She has a minor in Entertainment and Sports Management. Joey is also an USC graduate. Liam the dog they have as a pet is the sole furry member of the family. Khondabi admitted that she and Joey love eating, and among the food items they enjoy eating at home are onion ring of Dixie Drive-In. Khondabi added, "I'm a very curious person." In primary school, my daily school headlines were written by me, and I would do interviews with experts in education and broadcast them on the school's program. When I was at (then) Oakland Elementary our newscast was titled WOAK. Khondabi said that her first work as a television reporter after her college. It was with WAGT located which was located in Augusta Georgia. Khondabi reported that she worked on television news for approximately six years. After Augusta, my first job was as a journalist in the morning for WOWK Charleston West Virginia. My next stop was Columbus Ohio for work as a traffic reporter, and host of the morning news.
